We are available 24/7 for equine medical emergencies and from Thursday morning through Monday afternoon for equine emergency surgeries at our equine hospital location in Ellensburg, WA. Our equine emergency veterinarians are here to address your emergent and urgent needs. We understand this can be a stressful time for both the horse and owner, and we strive to make these situations as calm and efficient as possible. ​

If your horse needs to be hospitalized, they will be housed in our 6-stall intensive care unit and monitored by our team of doctors, technicians, and assistants. We provide nursing care, treatments, and fluid monitoring around the clock. Our in-house laboratory delivers quick results, and we work closely with reference laboratories across the nation. ​

At CWEH, our equine veterinarians are equipped to handle a variety of horse-related medical emergencies, including but not limited to: 

Equine Medical Emergencies: Colic, Choke, Dystocia, laceration, foal emergencies, respiratory distress, and acute lameness
